Lindsay wrote poetry throughout her life. In her fight to understand herself and the world, poetry poured out of her.

She performed as a semi-finalist in the Roundhouse 2017 Spoken Word competition, and she posted her work on SoundCloud and YouTube and joined a poetry collective on Sunday afternoons, which she loved.
